Various thoughts I have in the woods
I always make sure to have enough food and water for my trips. Water recommendation is typically 1L per 2 hours.
As for food, here's what I rock:
- Sandwich with hummus, tofurky slices, tomato, vegenaise, spinach, nutritional yeast, and hot sauce.
- Nuts! I like pistachios lately.
- Fresh fruit like an apple.
I've been hiking by myself lately, which is nice and calming but can occasionally be lonely. Only need to pack for one, though!
A person I care about recently drew a little cartoon on my sandwich wrapper before I headed out. Adorable. I like to add things like that now.
